Trauma & EMDR Therapy · Shepparton & Online Australia

I help women who feel tired, overwhelmed, and caught in overthinking.

Together, we create space to feel lighter in your body, clearer in your mind, and more at home in your life. You begin to have energy for yourself again, and to savour the simple joys that once felt far away.

A lit lantern space for the weary, inviting you back to yourself.

Smitha Vincent

Hello, I'm Smitha

Trauma & EMDR Therapist for Women in Shepparton and Online Across Australia

I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and EMDR therapist. I see myself as an inclusive trauma therapist, where your thoughts, emotions, body, gender, culture, neurodivergence, queerness, and spirituality are welcome.

My own healing, and the journeys I have witnessed with others, shape the way I hold space. Here, slowness is sacred. Pacing follows the rhythm of your nervous system.

Moving Forward

You notice new patterns and choices. You feel more connected to your body, relationships, and spirit. You know deep within that you are enough and worthy.

Small shifts arrive early.
Lasting change builds over time.

Set boundaries with more clarity and softness

Recognise patterns and triggers before they hijack

Experience fewer intense emotional waves, and recover more quickly when they come

Build simple rituals of care that anchor daily life

Feel safer in their bodies and in their world

Relate to their feelings and sensations with more kindness

Sense more connection to themselves, their relationships, their culture and spirituality

Sleep more restfully and think with greater clarity

Take the first step.

If you feel a yes inside, even a quiet, tentative one, I would be honoured to walk beside you.

I, as a South Indian woman, owner and practitioner of Serenity Counselling and Consulting Services, acknowledge the Yorta Yorta people as the Traditional Custodians of the unceded land, waters and community where I live and work. I acknowledge the tribes of Aboriginal people who lost their connection to the land, waters and community during colonisation. I extend my respect to the Ancestral wisdom, as well as Elders past, present and emerging.

I strive to provide a space that is inclusive of disability, neurodivergence, diverse bodies, LGBTIQASBP+ communities, race, skin colour, and ethnicity where your lived experience is valued and your voice is heard and respected.
