I believe in being clear and transparent, so you know what to expect before you book.

Your investment is not just for our time together.

It honours the depth of presence I bring, the skills and training I’ve cultivated, and the sustainable care this practice is built upon.

This allows me to keep showing up with consistency, warmth, and integrity.

Payment and Policies

  • Payment: You can pay by bank transfer or card (a small convenience fee applies for card payments). Invoices are issued during the week of your appointment and are due within 7 days. If an invoice remains unpaid without communication, it may be referred to a recovery service, with any associated fees added.

  • Intensives: A 50% deposit is required one week before your intensive. The remainder is due on the day of the intensive or by the invoice due date, whichever comes later.

  • Reports and Paperwork: Reports or letters are only provided when required by a funding provider (e.g., Medicare or NDIS).

  • I do not write reports especially for medico-legal purposes such as for court.

  • Cancellations: Please provide at least 2 clear business days’ notice to reschedule or cancel. Late cancellations or no-shows incur the full fee.

As a sole practitioner, I need this time to offer the session to others and sustain the practice. For neurodivergent participants, I understand appointments can be hard to track. I trust you’ll use your strengths and supports to help you attend.

  • Reminders: You may receive an automated reminder, but please don’t rely on it.

When you book, it is your responsibility to set up reminders that work for you.

  • Hardship: If you’re experiencing financial difficulty, you are welcome to reach out, ideally before your session, so we can explore what’s possible or connect you with another community resource.

Funding and Rebates

  • Medicare: Rebates are available with a valid GP Mental Health Treatment Plan. As of 2025–26, the rebate is $87.25 for a 50+ minute session. Bulk billing is not offered.

  • Private Health: Some funds, such as Bupa, may provide rebates. Please check directly with your health fund to confirm.

  • Carer Gateway: If you are a carer, Carer Gateway funds up to six counselling sessions. I am a registered provider with Carer Gateway.

  • NDIS: I currently support existing NDIS participants but am not taking on new NDIS clients at this time.

  • Other Funding: I accept VIC Worksafe participants and Victorian Financial Assistance Scheme approved participants (previously VOCAT).

  • Community Programs (not with me): APMHA Healthcare (PHN funded program) and Mental Health and Wellbeing Local (116 Corio St, Shepparton VIC) offer free sessions directly, but they do not fund private sessions with me.

This work is a partnership, rooted in trust, presence, and care.

If the rhythm of these offerings feels right for you, you can book a session or join a free Q & A call using the button below.
