Some healing asks for more than fifty minutes.

Here is time for the process your body has been waiting for.

This is not another appointment. It is a container for change..

Hi, I'm Smitha

I offer trauma focused therapy intensives for women, in-person in Shepparton and online across Australia.

Therapy is guided by you along with Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, somatic therapy and expressive arts therapy that is necessary to support you in the moment.

Why Therapy Intensives?

In shorter sessions the clock often interrupts just as things start to open.

Intensives offer the space to build safety, soften the survival defences, integrate and breathe. Instead of stopping midstream, you stay with the process until it feels more complete.

Breaks are woven in at natural points, not imposed by the end of an hour.

This space, this chair, have held the weight of many journeys and witnessed the lightness that follows too.

What is absent here, the stopwatch and the rush, matters just as much as what is present. The
pace and rhythm of your own nervous system is what makes this space healing.

Attuned

Each intensive is shaped around what you want to focus on, responding to your needs with care and presence. This time is designed for you.

Flexible

Sessions flow at the rhythm of your nervous system, with natural breaks and pacing that honours your capacity. Online or in - person your comfort leads.

Spacious

Instead of rushing, there is room to breathe, soften and follow what arises. Depth has time to unfold without the clock cutting short the process.

You may be in the right place if...

  • Weekly therapy, journaling, meditation, and self-help haven’t quieted the same patterns that keep circling back.

  • You feel weary from carrying so much, and long for some time that is truly yours.

  • You want more than surface change.

The impact of carrying it all....

  • Snapping, yelling, withdrawing or shutting down

  • Thoughts like “Nothing good happens here” or “I am not worthy”

  • Feelings of anger, anxiety, hopelessness, frustration

  • Beliefs of invisibility and not-enoughness

  • Memories of trauma, loss, bullying, separation, parenting struggles

  • A body always on alert, never resting

  • Life that feels joyless, disconnected, and exhausting

Relief can look like this....

  • A nervous system that can finally soften

  • A kinder inner voice

  • Deeper, connected relationships

  • The return of joy and aliveness

  • To feel whole, at home in yourself, enough

What you Receive

An intensive is one whole container, set aside just for you. Inside it, there is time for arriving, deep work, rest and integration. Nothing rushed, nothing pushed.

Your Intensive Journey

  • A free Q & A call to discuss your goals, steps and book the dates.

  • 90-minute intake session to orient, clarify intentions, and begin gently.

  • 6 hours of deep Intensive work with EMDR and somatic processing, with breaks at natural points.

  • 50-minute post-session to support integration and grounding.

  • A workbook to guide reflection and practice between and after sessions.

Not as another task to do but as a container for the process.

Your Investment

The intensive package is not just time on a calendar, it is a whole journey of preparation, deep work, and integration.

Many describe it as an investment in presence, rest and repair.

  • Intensive Package (90 min intake + 6 hour intensive + 50 min post session + workbook) : AUD 2,065

  • Ongoing 3 -hour sessions (for existing clients) : AUD 750

Each intensive includes preparation beforehand and integration support afterwards, so the work is not left unfinished.

Payment can be made in full or in installment, at least 50% paid one week before the scheduled intensive session. If you have further questions about payment, please ask during the Q & A call.

This may be for you if...

You have already done some therapy and want to go deeper

You feel stuck in loops of overthinking, grief, anxiety or trauma

You sense your body is carrying more than your mind can untangle alone

You long for a clear sustained container for change that is not dictated by time limits.

You are ready to invest in yourself, even if that feels tender.

This may not be the right time if...

You are going through an acute crisis or unsafe situation

You have never done therapy before

You cannot set aside time around the intensive to let the work settle

You need ongoing weekly or fortnightly support rather than a deep dive

Frequently Asked Questions

How is an Intensive different from regular therapy?

In a regular 50-minute session the clock often interrupts just as things begin to open. An Intensive allows us to stay with the process and follow threads more deeply, with natural pauses for rest and integration.

Can these be done online as well as in-person?

Yes. Intensives can be held either in my Shepparton practice room or online. Many find being in their own familiar space actually helps the process. During the intake, we will discuss how you can prepare the space and your day to support you.

What happens in the Q & A session?

This is a 20-minute conversation to clarify what brings you here, answer questions about the process, and make sure this way of working feels right for you. It is not therapy, but a gentle first step.

What if I do not know what to say?

You do not need to come with a plan or polished words. We begin where you are, with sensations, fragments or silence. I will guide gently so you never have to carry the conversation alone.

How do you make sure I do not get overwhelmed?

The pace is set by your nervous system, not the clock. Breaks are woven in at natural points and grounding tools are used throughout, so the work goes as deep as feels safe without tipping into too much.

My Invitation

You do not have to decide everything now.

A Q&A session is not therapy, but an invitation to pause by the lantern, to ask, to wonder, and to sense if this way of working feels right for you.
